India’s fresh food category has transformed massively in the last decade, and iD Fresh Food has been one of the biggest forces behind this shift. From turning simple idli–dosa batter into a ₹681-crore+ business to expanding into parotas, dairy, beverages, and chapatis, the company has built a strong ready-to-cook ecosystem.

But what does this ₹681 crore actually represent?

What “Revenue From Operations” Really Means

Before diving into the product-wise breakup, it’s important to understand what the number stands for.

Revenue from Operations (RFO) refers to
👉 money earned from the core business activities, i.e., selling products and services
👉 excludes other income like interest, grants, or one-time gains

So for iD Fresh in FY25, ₹681 crore RFO = pure sales of batters, parotas, dairy, chapati, beverages, chutneys, fruits, and other food products.
It’s the cleanest indicator of how strong the company’s primary business truly is.

FY25 Revenue From Operations – Category Breakup (₹681 Cr)

CategoryRevenue (₹ Cr)Share of Total
Batter308.4045.28%
Parota210.5430.91%

Chutney10.171.49%
Frozen Fruit8.761.29%
Stuffed Parota2.350.35%
Others2.930.43%
Total681 Cr100%

What This Tells Us

1️⃣ Batter remains the revenue engine (45%+)

Still the largest contributor by far, proof of iD’s brand dominance.

2️⃣ Parota is now a powerful growth pillar (31%)

A category that’s scaled faster than many expected.

3️⃣ Dairy is emerging as a serious business (11%)

iD’s diversification strategy is clearly working.

4️⃣ Chapati gaining urban acceptance (7%)

Reflecting busy families choosing convenience.

5️⃣ New categories still small (<5%)

But strategically important for margin expansion and brand presence.

Bottom Line

iD Fresh continues to be a batter + parota powerhouse, with 76% of FY25 revenue coming from these two categories.
At the same time, dairy, chapati, beverages, and niche products show how the company is shaping a multi-category fresh foods portfolio for the next decade.
